Why this site exists

Most everyday PDF tasks — combining files, pulling out pages, rotating a scan — do not need software installed or documents uploaded to someone's server. Modern browsers can do all of it locally. This site is a collection of such tools: open a page, drop a file, get the result.

Who builds it

Download PDF App is an independent project built by a small team. It is not affiliated with Adobe or any other PDF software company. “PDF” is used here to describe the file format the tools work with.

What makes it different

• Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
• No account, no email required, no watermarks added to your documents.
• Tools state their limitations honestly — for example, PDF to Text tells you clearly when a scan has no text layer instead of returning an empty file.

How it is funded

At this stage the site earns nothing: there are no ads, subscriptions or paid features. Hosting costs are low because processing happens on your device rather than on our servers. If that changes in the future, this page will say so plainly.
